Manuscripts reveal it to be the oldest The Holy Quran in the world dating about 1,350 years and the parchment came from a single skin of a goat with calligraphy neatly written on deer skin. The surface is flattened and is finely parched to obtain a very thin superfine parched deer skin sheet on which The Holy Quran is calligraphed using opaque ink colour. It comprises 136 boxes with golden borders on all four sides with strong border on the whole unit. This is stuck on the goat skin without using any adhesive, which is the mystery and the wonder behind the making of this The Holy Quran. Withstanding the era and all kinds of weather, print is pristine clear.
