This is a very rare collection of The Holy Quran and is intricately calligraphed on special sheet of mixed food grain from Persia or Turkey. The verses fade away if not read continuously, but can be retrieved by applying any oily substance (vegetable oil, petroleum jelly) on the paper. The reason behind the fading of the verses reveals that The Holy Quran has to be touched and read daily to enrich every Muslim’s habit of reading the Holy scripture. The external sides of The Holy Quran may be attacked by food bugs since the composition of these sheets is done using mixed food grains. But this will not damage the handwritten script, another speciality of this The Holy Quran.
